I ordered some clogs so I've been playing around with outfits on polyvore while I wait for them to arrive. I'm still obsessed with satchels, though this PS1 is a little out of my price range. It is still fun to dream;) Though I think I could be just as happy with the Alison Lewis skirt.

 

Spring 2010 Wants: Miu Miu & Rykiel

Like everyone else, I loved the Miu Miu Spring 2010 collection, and I'm most obsessed with the platform Mary Janes. Besides fun pieces for spring, I'm also leaning towards the sexier silhouettes of the 70's, like the Sonia Rykiel outfit above. It is hard to make pink not look sweet, but I love the pencil skirt & plunging neckline in the faded rose shade.

The Stila Jewel palette is one that I keep coming back to play with at Sephora. I don't need another shimmer/glitter/sparkle eyeshadow for about a thousand years, but this is a great all in one to throw in a makeup bag.

 

Oh, and my new favorite spring nailpolish is Nars Purple Rain. It is a delicious dark purple shade with flashes of red micro glitter. Very satisfying to my current 1970's obsession, despite the 80's name.
 
 

Want of the Day: Dior Python Briefcase

This would be my ultimate work bag. Actually, I would wear this all the time with my more feminine pieces.

Not quite the same, but it I'll be playing around with my vintage attache style snakeskin bag to help the pining for the Dior.

J.Crew Spring 2010-A Few Picks

I think I'm the only weirdo that likes the styling more than the clothing itself when it comes to J.Crew. Though with every roll out I still manage to find some pieces that interest me. 

This time around I'm eyeing the Crackled Copper Pencil Skirt. I'm still holding on to sheen and shine for spring and summer, and I think it could be great for Mr.M's work events. 

I wish they would have made the Rose Vines Romper in a cotton material, like a lightweight bodysuit. I love the print and the gathering along the bust, but it looks to be made out of swimsuit fabric.

I'm also liking the ruffled shoulders of the Blakely Blouse, and I'm hoping they resemble the 1970's apron style top that I passed up like an idiot several years ago in Topanga Canyon. This all doesn't sound very positive does it? But  as we all know, most things at J.Crew need to be seen in real life for a proper evaluation.

Want of the Day: Anthropologie Cherie Dress

My love for white dresses and dashes of black is well documented, so of course this dress is right up my alley. The bust line looks gorgeous, but I'm wary of the smocking in the middle. Is it cheaper to do this than make a proper waistband? I'll have to wait to see it in person to give a final review. Anthropologie, $188
