The torrential rain we've been getting for the last week–and forecasted to continue–is putting a damper on my blogging spirit. But I haven't given up on spring yet based on my recent gravitation to floral patterns. I'm loving everything from chintz to calico, but I currently like prints the bigger the better.
They seem to be the most fun when paired with dots and stripes, and even with other floral prints. Don't forget to bring in fun accessories, like these lipstick colored Proenza Schouler heels. I love a red shoe like nothing else.
Not only did I dig through my closet to find things, but I added some new items as well. I found this vintage silk blazer at a thrift store last weekend. My wardrobe and the jacket are still studying each other, trying to figure out who is going to make the first move.
I broke my no shoes from Forever 21 rule with this pair of platform wedges. I'll keep you updated on how quickly they disintegrate and/or destroy my feet.
I've had the 90's top on the right for a while, but the Ralph Lauren silk top was a recent thrifting acquisition.
