Oops! Moodboard was supposed to be back from vacation on Monday but I fell a little behind while catching up with everyday life.
I had so much fun on the trip and I'm trying to edit all of our pictures right now. I tweeted about some of my purchases, but I thought I would show you some of my new vintage finds together. I found most of them the day before we left for vacation and couldn't wait to get home and play with them again.
Since I've been on a major splurge lately that has required a major closet purge. Plus, I had all of my vintage I've collected over the years pulled out from storage. I'll be working on photographing everything and hope to have a small collection for sale up next week.
But enough about sad partings, here are some of the new favorites in my closet:
I've had a lace obsession for some time now, and I found some new pieces to put in my closet. The rosy pink & broderaire lace dresses were found at a flea market, as was the antique lace vest.
The black 60's dress with lace top was thrifted along with the 90's lace tee. The pinky red striped top has a few holes but it was so cute I couldn't pass it up at the flea. Behind it you can barely see, but a 30's black top with the prettiest gathered sleeves.
The last black dress I'm not sure if I'm going to keep for myself, but it is so pretty on. It was made in France, I'm guessing the 80's, and has a satin pencil style skirt with blousy lace overlay encrusted with rhinestones.
The 90's come way of 40's flowered top is by a designer that I keep my eye out for, and I'm planning on doing a post about her in the near future.
I stopped by my favorite though expensive vintage store in my neighborhood and fell in love with the creamy shawl/jacket with the most gorgeous silk fringe and embroidery. It was a splurge, but I rationalized the purchase because I can wear it to my sister's wedding.
Vintage dance costume pretties found at a flea market. I'm thinking about hanging these in my office whenever we finally find a house.
