I've received a couple of emails asking why I don't do outfit shots anymore. I can't seem to manage to take decent picture of inanimate objects, let alone setting a timer and getting the Nikon to cooperate long enough to take a picture of myself.
I'm thinking about buying another point and shoot camera, my old one(now broken), worked so much better for outfit shots. I guess I could also quit being so lazy and learn to use my camera!
So there is no body underneath them, but here are some more of my favorite finds. The 1970's striped sweater I found at a flea market. It has wide navy stripes and sleeves that bell out at the cuff, which I love so much.
The second striped item isn't old, but it is a combo I've been wearing on repeat. Black and white striped long sleeve tee from H&M with Anthropologie Stormy Seas necklace, the color of green glass.
I had plaid coats on my fall wish list because I've an outfit I kept picturing in my mind. I wanted something with a pattern, like an old men's pair of plaid pants, to wear with a feminine dress. I found exactly what I wanting at a thrift store.
The first coat is as you can see does not unbutton all the way down. I'm not sure what the reason behind this was, does anyone know? It is a black and white wool check pattern, double breasted buttons, with an almost peter pan collar. I need to get the leather belt replaced.
The second plaid coat is exactly what I wanted. An old men's coat but in a woman's size. It also black and white, but with a caramel stripe and buttons. I have to fix a spot on the collar this week because I can't wait to wear it.
