I love this whimsical home, which belongs to Herve Pierre, currently the design director for Carolina Herrera.
I'm going to steal that ribbon idea for some of my vintage prints. The pillowcases are actually Bill Blass scarves. Herve made the lampshade from an old Hermes bag.
The angel was part of a Christmas display for Lanvin. The tricornered hat was designed by Herve for Balmain Couture.
This is my single girl living in Paris dream bed.
I'm working on getting a similar screen for my dressing room. So over the top, but I love the old hollywood glamour of it. Schiaparelli hat boxes make another appearance.
Probably seems strange to have enclosed seating in a home, but I have always loved tiny places to hide, ever since childhood. Window seats, closets, stair landings, all became places to pretend and read books.
Original sketches by Rene Gruau for Balmain.
Herve built this castle from tarot cards.
