I pointed out Garance Dore to my assistant extraordinaire while we were at Lincoln Center. This of course meant he was going to dash over to take her picture while I cowered behind a pillar. I'm not sure she was too thrilled at first about having her picture taken, but as I've mentioned before, it is hard to turn down my husband.
Me: So what do you think of her?
Him: She's a hottie! I like her smile.
Me: (discreetly pointing to Scott Schuman) That photographer is her boyfriend.
My assistant extraordinaire took this shot of editor Joanna Hillman while he waited for me to come out. I wonder what grabbed his attention? The darling striped suit? The red dotted Miu Miu heels? The mile long legs?
I'm just going to warn you now that this will not be the last time I post about the Miu Miu Fall 2011 collection. I did much gushing over the collection back in March, and I'll continue to do so as it pops up in editorials and stores.
While my heart still is crushing on the glitter booties, the smooth leather ones in the ad are starting to grow on me.

I had to immediately go look up Jenny Packham's whole spring collection last night after after spotting Blair Waldorf wearing a dress on Gossip Girl last night.
I love her take on vintage silhouettes, and that she manages to make long sequin dresses look ethereal vs Dynasty. I think some of the attendees at last night's Met Ball would have done well to wear one of her creations.
I love editor Shala Monroque's personal style. She tends to favor classic silhouettes but with a modern twist, whether it be the color or with an accessory. Shala is also frequently seen in amazing pieces designed by Miuccia Prada, sometimes right after it has hit the runway.
I can't stop staring at the second image, with the creamy pearls meshed together with a cherry stem necklace.
I've been keeping up with the First Looks column on Vogue.com, and after seeing Suno's gorgeous moodboard I knew I was going to love the prints. For their presentation they mixed the patterns with grandpa plaids, which is right my fashion alley.
I'm also crushing on their jewelry collaboration with Lizzie Fortunato. There are lots of 1970's style necklaces and Wonder Woman worthy cuffs.
