My fashion tastes have been evolving, and I've been trying to cut back on buying girly, twee-ish pieces. Not that there is anything wrong with feminine clothing, but I've amassed plenty of it in my wardrobe. And just as soon as I state that I'm wanting a change, I stumble across this circa 1989 Laura Ashley skirt.
It is a little Lisa Turtle, a little Isabel Marant, and I thought I could find some room in my closet for it. The silver bracelets are a mix of vintage and some pieces given to me by my grandmother. I'm glad the focus is on the wrists again, because I wrestle with wearing necklaces and normally turn to bracelets for adornment.
