Open weave sweaters popped up all over the spring 2011 runways in various knits. J.Crew, Isabel Marant, and Michael Kors all produced sporty mesh versions that can be dressed up or down.
I dug around in my closet for something similar and pulled out a vintage 1970's tunic and a 1980's dress. The dress has been languishing in a basket because I want the hem shorter. Maybe this will the season I finally do it!
