Did you guys catch the article about this house in the NYTimes? The story of the owner left me a little sad, for many reasons. I don't want to speculate on her situation, but it is always hard to see when life has knocked someone around so much that they kind of give up on taking another step forward.
Back to what is beautiful about this story, the owner converted an old hunting cabin into a miniature Victorian dream house, all by herself. I like my interiors a little less decorated with some masculine elements thrown in, but I can appreciate many of the ideas and items in her home. Can't you see this woman working at Country Living or Romantic Homes magazine?
Perhaps you could while away a weekend in her loft bedroom, pretending to be Thumbelina playing in a cocoon.
