I have several ideas of what I want to be wearing now jumbled around in my head. I'm feeling a Victorian/Edwardian style by way of 1970's, while also mixing in shine(maybe disco mixed with masculine? What?), and some pieces that play with hem and necklines.
It doesn't help that in the past several months I've been watching tons of 1970's films. One turned out to be what should have been labeled porn, but I just fast forwarded to the great outfits;)
I'm also scanning old editorials for inspiration. My magazines are currently packed up but while starting to unpack some boxes from our old basement I stumbled across two whole bins of old magazines(which is like winning the lottery in Moodboard house). While leafing through Vogue March 2002 I came across the Steven Meisel/Grace Coddington editorial, "The White Album".
I love the soft white worn a bit more relaxed with sexier silhouettes, and toughened up with suit jackets and boyish shoes.
Oh, and I know you see Carolyn Murphy, but do you spot a young Erin Wasson?
