We lost a loved one in our family, and the funeral was yesterday. Though it was expected, you never are really ready, and watching those left behind pick up the pieces is is just as painful.
This morning we were still stumbling around, trying to get back to normal. Then I turned on my computer to read my daily blogs, to see this adorable image above, and a grin broke out across my face. I adore the family of Sweet Fine Day, and though I have no children, I love to read about their life, both the highs and lows. Without one we wouldn't be able to experience the other.
I wanted to say thank you for all the comments and emails over the last several days. I know I'm behind in responses between the tech meltdown and the passing of our loved one. Oh, and Claudine, I'm totally stealing your black tulle skirt as shawl idea. Marvelous.
