Since I don't have a camera right now I'm going to continue to inundate you with photographs from magazines and books. It is giving me a chance to try out my new scanner and hopefully my images are getting better. The biggest hurdle has been when they split the image up into two separate pages. You don't want to know how much time I spend trying to get the sides to match.
I have many tear sheets from Amanda Harlech's home saved in my inspiration notebooks, but my favorite has to be this one from her stay at the Ritz. This is where she stays when she comes to Paris, and also where she stores her couture wardrobe.
I love how she makes the room hers by draping the bed with an antique pink shawl, and strewing the mantle with personal photographs, bits of tulle and vintage dresses.
