Everybody loves America lately. Even Karl Lagerfeld has decided to set up house in Vermont at a historic home in Lake Champlain. Chanel's spring ad campaigns offer a peek into Lagerfeld's new home, that he says reminds him of the poet Emily Dickinson.
I know the last image doesn't show much of his home but Heidi Mount's silhouette reminds me of a Mats Gutstafson illustration.
His reference to Emily Dickinson had me rooting around the Internet to see if there were any actual images of her home. I now have a new destination to add to my "Places I Want to Visit" list. Her childhood home has been turned into a museum and it is located in Amherst.
