I was so happy to click on Katy Elliot's website this morning and see her post about Sara Bengur. I've had the above image saved on my computer for some time and had no idea where I found it or the history. Apparently the one Sarah used is 19th century french, and I'm not surprised when you look at the graceful swoops of the bed.
My mother passed down the one she had from the 70's to me and has been storing it until Thanksgiving when we finally managed to find a car big enough to haul it home.
This is my mine, and I'm hoping to stain it the same color as the 19th century version. It doesn't have the slender outside swoops, but I'm still in love with the oversized dots.
I can't remember who this image belongs to other then it came from the Apartment Therapy site. If someone knows please let me know and I'll link to her site. This is another option if you are wanting a graphic punch of white.
This is another white version from Jo of Desire to Inspire, and it is very similar to mine
