I keep a folder under my favorites titled Watching. I put in it all the links to the items that I'm in love with but don't need at the time or can't currently afford. As you can imagine this list gets very long and items get pushed back and forgotten. When I was cleaning out the folder last week I came across a link to the West Elm cutout pendant lamp.
It appeared to have been marked down and out of stock, so I called CS to inquire about the lamp. I was told it was sold out online and in store, and they would not be getting anymore in. It doesn't even show up online anymore.
When I attempted to add it to my cart it let me know that it would be backorderd to August 21. I thought what the heck and put in an order, since they don't charge you until the item ships, which I figured it never would. Guess what showed up on my doorstep this afternoon?
Not only that, but I had already half talked myself out of liking the lamp. Could I make this myself? Also, we are stripping our house bare and starting over, and I'm not even sure what I'm going to do with it. But I love it, especially that the color is more off white than cream
