Kate Moss for Topshop Spring/Summer 2008
I didn't realize that Kate Moss has put out a total of 5 seasonal collections for Topshop. After my first two orders were canceled for low inventory I stopped paying attention.
A little white tunic dress happened to catch my eye in an issue of Elle magazine, so I did try to find out the release date for this collection. This proved to be harder task, as the collection was introduced with less advertising and fanfare than before. The release dates kept changing and items in the collection were kept under wraps until the last minute.
When it did hit the web the other night, I was disappointed in the selection. Much like the Jovovich collection, changes had been made to the prototypes before they hit the sales floor or website in my case. The tunic dress I had admired was missing the sleeves, my favorite part of the dress. The broderaire anglais jacket that looked so fetching on Kate was missing the ruffle trim on the sleeve.

So in a hurry, I purchased the Broderaire Anglais navy dress...
and the Daisy Print Tea Dress
Two things I didn't realize until after I ordered was that the BA dress is actually navy and not black and that the daisy dress comes to your knees. I received confirmation this morning that I'm receiving both items so I will post a review and outfit shots once they arrive. I know I have been slacking in the Strike a Pose section lately.
